How UltraWhite Clinic works vs. Teeth Whitening Kits

UltraWhite Clinic

UltraWhite Clinic is a professional teeth whitening boutique that has been helping clients achieve their best smiles since 2010. As a professional teeth whitening clinic, our process begins with a consultation to determine the best option. Once the best treatment option has been selected, we will conduct a shade guide to determine your starting point. During the treatment, You will be in a private room with dimmed lights and relaxing music playing in the background. Our technician will place a cheek retractor in your mouth, and the whitening gel will be hand applied. Depending on the level of discoloration, you may require 1-2 treatments.

Teeth Whitening Kits

Teeth whitening kits are a do-it-yourself technique that includes a mouth tray, teeth whitening solution and an LED device. To use it, you must fill the mouth tray with the teeth whitening solution, and you will then insert the tray into your mouth and place the LED device on your mouth for 30-90 minutes. Most teeth whitening kits recommend 1-2 weeks of use to see noticeable results.

Treatment & Application

UltraWhite Clinic

The teeth whitening treatment is catered to the needs of each client. Not everyone has the same oral health history, so every client needs the treatment to be adjusted to meet their needs. The consultation helps our technician determine the type of teeth whitening gel to use, the length of the treatment, the results to expect, whether a gum barrier may be needed and if certain teeth should be avoided. Once the technician has selected the best option, the treatment begins by placing a retractor to protect your lips so you don’t have to worry about gel coating your gums. The technician will hand apply the teeth whitening gel so we can get to hard-to-reach areas. Once the gel has been applied on the teeth, an LED light is positioned in front of your mouth to accelerate the process. A full teeth whitening treatment consists of 3 applications, each lasting 20 minutes.

Whitening Kits

The treatment begins by charging the LED device. Once it is fully charged, it is ready for use. You will then apply the whitening gel to the generic tray and place the tray in your mouth. Next, turn on the LED device to accelerate the results. Each session is about 30-90 minutes long, and it is recommended to be used every day for 1-2 weeks.

Ingredients

UltraWhite Clinic

We use an enamel-safe gel called Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a safe and effective teeth whitening gel composed of oxygen and water. Depending on its concentration, it is recommended only for professional teeth clinics, achieving its results in the first 30 minutes of application.

Teeth Whitening Kits

Most teeth whitening kits use carbamide peroxide, a lower-dosage formulation of hydrogen peroxide called carbamide peroxide. As it is less concentrated, it is safe for at-home use and can be used for more extended periods.

Coverage

UltraWhite Clinic

As the teeth whitening gel is hand applied to each tooth, we can get right up to the gum line and inbetween the teeth. These are the areas where we typically see the most discoloration.

Teeth Whitening Kits

The coverage offered by the teeth whitening kit depends on the shape and size of the tray. If the tray is too small, you may miss areas close to your gumline. On the other hand, if the tray is too big, you may risk touching your gums.
